India is world’s largest democratic country. Democratic country is nothing but “A system in which the government of a country is elected by the people. "Having a 1.2 billion and upholding population living in the true, socialist and secular democratic values.  In democratic country a good “Citizen” matters at every point especially at a time of election. Now the question arises here is what is election? And why we all are matters? The simple answer for this question is: “Everyone who have Right to vote have a power to express them choose a person who gives a proper direction for growth & development of a country.

Mainly voting or election is important because:

1)      Choice of leadership- By participating in election. Every citizen has a power to chose a good leader who help to improve countries standard of living who can give a direction to growth and development of a country.

2)      Change of leadership- As a citizen we have an authority to change the leadership if something is going wrong among them, have authority to voice their opinion if they do not like the testaments of the existing population.

3)      Elections form the basis of democracy and holding elections regularly and somewhat is what makes the process genuinely worth it. In a democracy, elections are needed to check on political parties as to what they are doing and make citizens responsible for their choices and nation. 

4)      General public participation in election is also an important factor for the democratic country.

As per the data, since 2019 to 2024 the participation in election had drastically changed as compare to the male, female electoral, definitely it matters to the overall country.

From the above data we can get the idea about how it is necessary to increase the youth participation in election.

We have to be aware that every youth has to obey their voting rights for the future of the country. Everyone is responsible for the countries

As a good citizen we should have to take care during election:

Ø  Please don’t get in favors of any political party.

Ø  Read the manifesto of every political party.

Ø  Get a proper information of political leaders.

Ø  Be aware that “Your vote matters” for future.

 

Keep secret your vote but don’t skip your voting rights!
